The Teacher

Melinda Fletcher

Melinda Fletcher graduated from Pacific Union College in June, 2006 with her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies, along with Seventh-day Adventist and California State teaching credentials. She is currently working on completing her Masters of Education through Pacific Union College.

Ms. Fletcher has been teaching Kindergarten at Foothill since 2006.

The Program

Foothill's kindergarten program is a full-day program that focuses on the whole child. Besides strong academics, the program emphasizes learning to work and play with others, developing gross and fine motor skills and learning about Jesus, our very best friend.

Message from the Teacher

Our program focuses on having high academic standards while also meeting the physical, emotional and social needs of each child at whatever developmental level he or she is at.  I love teaching and sharing Jesus with my students and cannot think of any other profession I would rather be in.

Kindergarten Readiness Testing
